On one of the ordinary days, while working in a workshop with electric welding, I stained my work clothes with sparks from molten metal. And since I was not in the mood to work then, I decided to paint over the dirty spots and, carried away by the process, began to depict Gothic letters and alchemical symbolism on the jacket. The result of the painting inspired me to create a whole series. The idea was to transform the workwear that electric welders wear into “sacred” art objects reminiscent of medieval manuscripts.
